In the year 2012, at just 26 years of age, he successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree on the synthesis of semiconducting polymers for organic solar cells (OSC) and organic field effect transistors (OFETs) applications, from the world-renowned and prestigious Imperial College London, and Queen Mary College, University of London. Other accolades includes; a Master degree in chemistry with honours, from Kingston University London, UK, a Master degree in Electrochemistry (battery technology) from the University of Southampton, Hampshire, UK, and the proud recipient of the 2007 prestigious Royal society of Chemistry Downland prize for best chemistry project in London, UK.
He joined Polyfect solutions limited (Loughborough, UK) and AkzoNobel (Slough, UK) on a year's contract in 2013, as a materials processing engineer and manager. He is a gifted international motivational speaker, author of the inspirational book, Step Up and Stand Out, and a youth mentor. In 2014, he was bestowed with the Leadership Minds Award (LMA) for best international motivational speaker.
Dr Dickson Aleroh is the founder of Tranform.me UK Ltd, an organisation focused on self-development. In 2012, he founded Solarnetiqs Nigeria Ltd, as a one-stop shop for the development, sourcing, supply, installation, operation, maintenance, and management of solar power farm projects for domestic & commercial users, governments and foreign investors in Nigeria and West Africa.
Today, he is the founder and CEO of Riccofortezza Nigeria Limited (formerly, Solarnetiqs), founded in 2016, and the Dickson Aleroh Foundation (www.dicksonalerohfoundation.org.ng) for youths.
