1. EPC AND OPERATIONS PARTNERSHIP ON RENEWABLE ENERGY PARTNERSHIP.
In January 2016, our company enlisted AS-Solar as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partner for the developed Kwara state solar power project.
This company is an indigenous solar energy company with years of expertise in the renewable energy industry, and over the years has worked on high quality solar street lights, home power generation system, solar borehole pumps, portable solar power kits, installations in Nigeria.
With their commitment to quality of service delivery, it is only natural that we partner to strengthen our technical knowhow, and broaden our coverage of the Nigerian (and West African) markets.
2. KWARA STATE PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP BUREAU, NORTH WEST NIGERIA.
In February 2016, RICCOFORTEZZA NIGERIA LIMITED (RICCOSOLAR) won a PPP contract with the Kwara State government (KWSG) alongside its appointed EPC (AS-Solar) to develop, construction, operation and maintain the first on-road solar mini-grid system (we called, a Solar Farm Tunnel) in the Ilorin metropolis, Kwara state, Nigeria.
This tripartite partnership led to the construction of the first-of-a kind solar farm tunnel built anywhere in Africa, with a combine clean power generation capacity of 400kW. This is the largest mini-grid system of its kinds in Nigeria to date.
Today, Riccofortezza-Asteven Energy Limited has been formed for the above purpose, and so far almost 1000 standalone LED solar street lights have been installed in Kwara State, with the solar farm tunnels powering retrofitted moribund highway lighting poles covering 24 km of road networks.
3. PARTNERSHIPS WITH ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS (OEMs).
